It is 5 five years since we started this little mission called SMILE :) And I could see an unbeliveable growth and sustainance. We started as simple as visiting homes and sponsoring few kids of our maidens and now we have 6 projects and more than 600 children getting benefitted out of this noble cause... I hope this grows exponentially every year. SMILE has taught all its member so many lessons in life and we would have definitely missed them and may remained unaware of all of them if we continued to do the rat race in life. I am sure all the members who are actively involved will definitely be aware of so many intricacies in these childrens lives, and feel happy when those little moments spur out when we see that smile from those little faces...this gives the complete momentum to keep our efforts sustained.
I used to refer that service is not something superficial.... but I may have to revisit those lines once again....
Every year we study hard for Xth and XIIth Maths and Science.... Every year we wait eagerly for those Xth and XIIth results, Every year we get curious to know about the college admissions.... Every year we prepare for the campus interviews....
Everyone says that they get inspired by seeing SMILE work but the truth is we get inspired and rejenuvated every time when a new member gets actively involved with us.
There are so many members involved actively with SMILE and each and everyone's presence is crucial... there is no written commitment... but there is no fear of losing anyone.... Lets continue to work towards this gracious cause and involve as many noble hearts to this mission as possible...
